Three floors, room for more than 500 diners and a 34-foot wine tower are just a few of the bragging rights at Del Frisco's, the Philly outpost of the national steakhouse chain. You can't beat the historic Packard Building setting for jaw-dropping impact, a soaring space with mezzanine seating, a vaulted dining room and acres of prime real estate at two bars. Start with one of the best lump crab cakes in town, along with an aged Prime rib-eye that is a carnivore's dream. Presentation along the way seems a bit spare, but the flavors are solid and sides like potatoes au gratin with cheddar and green onions and creamed spinach are top shelf. Del Frisco's launched with 1,400 bottles of wine and plans to grow the collection.
