Step inside this fava bean-green storefront and you'll find chef-owner Michael O'Halloran, the former chef de cuisine at Fork, waging a quiet, one-man revolution to deliver farm-fresh cuisine with a stylish, creative touch. He presents a weekly changing menu that might include wild Burgundy escargots stewed in a fennel-Pernod cream, a house-made country-style pâté and a slow-roasted leg of lamb fragrant with Dijon and thyme. Try the cheese plate, served with a honeycomb and pistachio brittle, especially if you're lucky enough to taste the lemony goat cheese by California-based Humboldt Fog. A buttermilk panna cotta is simply satisfying. Against a minimalist backdrop, this little BYOB impresses.
