Sola Description:
Chef-owner Dave Clouser took over this 50-seater on the Main Line in late 2006, and the change has been a good one. Clouser's menu, which can loosely be described as modern American with Mediterranean influences, reflects the best ingredients of the season, with choices that might include pomegranate barbecue shrimp, pumpkin bisque spiked with Asian pear and well seasoned hanger steak with chanterelles. Clouser's résumé includes stints at Susanna Foo, Nectar and Krazy Kats, experience that brings polish to this still-evolving spot. Service can be inconsistent, not a good thing considering the prices. There's a $2 corkage fee.
