Bona Cucina Description:
Keep it simple at Bona Cucina and you'll enjoy a meal of Southern Italian-style fare, including red sauce with meatballs, garlicky mussels in red or white sauce and a veal saltimbocca that is tangy with fresh prosciutto and fragrant with sage. Some of the dishes are hit or miss---white sauces tend towards the oily side, and veal Parmigiana may be deep fried to incineration. But the service is friendly, portions large and the red sauce is dependable. The place could use a fluffing up, but the die-hard regulars don't seem to notice.
