The elegant décor features angles, regional materials and references to nature. The American seafood and steakhouse menu offers traditional starters (a chilled seafood stand, jumbo shrimp cocktail, French onion soup) and showcases lobster, dry-aged steaks, local lamb, poultry and finfish. Diners also may opt for such classic sides as creamed spinach, steak fries and salt-roasted baked potatoes. Ingredients represent quality American---especially local---producers. To cap the experience, reserve the private dining room, with a view into the bustling kitchen. Note that the restaurant and hotel are open only in season, May through October, but the property can be reserved for special functions---corporate retreats, conferences---the rest of the year.
