Martine's Description:
Martine's resides in a fieldstone building dating back to a time before the American Revolution.In 1705, it was a salt store. By the 1750s, it became the tollhouse where fares were collected for the ferryboat ride to the Jersey shore. For the past 21 years, it's been Martine's, a culinary delight and one of, if not the best restaurant in New Hope.

Located in a former river tollbooth about as close to the Delaware as you can get without getting wet, Martine's RiverHouse offers stylish dining and bracing New American fare outlined in a concise but well thought out menu. Specialties include pan-seared scallops served with braised escarole and wild mushrooms and rack of lamb in a green peppercorn red wine sauce. We also recommend the pairing of clams and chorizo over spaghettini. Try the dense flourless chocolate torte for dessert.
