Bobbique Description:
Bobbique is the area's only option for barbecue, and it is a decent one---especially for beer drinkers and blues fans. They offer an extensive selection of the former, including local brews from Blue Point and Brooklyn, and the concert calendar is sufficiently booked with at least two shows a week. The food on offer includes all the typical dishes you'd expect, from St. Louis ribs to a pulled pork sandwich. Combinations are your best bet, as you can choose barbecue chicken or select up to five different meats to fill up your plate. Barbecue chicken is moist, and barbecue shrimp skewers are similarly well done. They're served with cornbread that is on the dry side, but if you choose the sweet potato fries as one of your two sides you shouldn't come away too disappointed. The Southern banana pudding is a rich and satisfying way to end the meal.
