Pierre Palais-Royal Description:
Eric Sertour, former director of the Résidence Maxim Hotel in Paris, has put his energy into redoing this centrally-located establishment. He has made it a cozy and contemporary space, all in black and white, and has entrusted the cooking to Pascal Bataillé, who's worked at l'Arôme and l'Ami Marcel. On the plate, expect pork rillons, beef rump, fish tempura, leg of lamb sprinkled with Quercy parsley and tarbais beans, and a vanilla millefeuille. There are many inspired dishes for our grandmas of both yesterday and today, offered at prices reasonable for everyone (menu-carte at €33 and €39).
