Café Etienne Marcel Description:
In this trendy area, the bar-restaurant Étienne-Marcel is the new venture of the Costes brothers. It's all 1970's decor - white plastic chairs with leather upholstery - plus plenty of original artwork.
Costes project, Étienne-Marcel is, of course, drawing a fashion crowd. As per the formula, the cocktails run €10, and the eclectic fare is mediocre. The pod-like, molded white plastic décor is reminiscent of futuristic 60s space films, but unfortunately the space is not very comfortable. The service staff is young and not quite on top of the details just yet. We recommend stopping by for a drink when you're in the mood for some people watching.
