Claudio Puglia, the owner of the Romantica in Clichy, is not a man likely to arrive anywhere on his tiptoes. With this restaurant, which was previously held by the discreet Pourcel brothers, the giant has decided to let us discover the flavors and fragrances of the Botte (Italy), and he achieves it with a certain talent. The cold veal with tonnato sauce and arugula is unanimously appreciated. We're reminded what makes us so fond of Italy when our taste buds encounter dishes like the heart of sucrine salad with gorgonzola; Milanese scallop; seafood linguine; tomato sauce and the panacotta cream. As for the wines, ask for one from Sicily. The non-vintage Nero d'Avola is a very good value for your money.
