This Japanese restaurant looks like any other one with its geometric black and rosewood décor and its tables with built-in grills, but the food, albeit pricey, proves to be some of the finest Japanese in town. Since we often leave Japanese restaurants as hungry as we came, we ordered a side of sashimi with our Matsu, or big menu. Well, after putting away the assorted fresh raw fish, sushi with avocado, crisp fried hors d'œuvres, pile of fat shrimp, tender beef fillet, and duo of ginger and chestnut sorbets, we waddled out happy and absolutely stuffed! Excellent vegetables, soya noodles, and teppanyaki. Wines straight from the growers.
