L'Ecailler du Bistrot Description:
Fresh seafood and fish are guaranteed by the presence of Gwen Cadoret, daughter of the famous Breton oyster farmer and wife of Bertrand Auboyneau, owner of the nearby Bistrot Paul Bert. Feast on blue lobster as part of a prix-fixe menu at €50 which includes: a dozen Belon oysters, half a lobster in a curry-based sauce (native to Lorient in Brittany), served with large, fried potatoes and followed by sliced apples with a salted butter caramel. An à la carte menu proposes dependable oysters in any season as well as a few varieties of fish (mostly sole), served in its most simple form.
