Casa Luca Description:
An elegant trattoria has taken over the space formerly occupied by Guy Savoy's Cap Vernet. The young and dashing owner, Nicolas Richard, introduces a modern and comfortable ambience equipped with cozy, dark pink seats, chic, wooden tables, and a roaring fireplace in the dining room. A breathtaking view of the Arc de Triomphe solidifies this establishment as a dining experience not to be overlooked. Clients have taken a liking to the authentic Italian charcuterie, particularly the famous mortadelle, which is increasingly difficult to find in Paris. Seven pizzas are featured on the menu. We enjoyed the Pizza Luca made with tomatoes, fresh artichokes, mozzarella and the lard of Colonata. Antipasti, including the Vitello Tonnato made with thin slices of veal or penne al dente with tomato and basil are palate pleasing options. Saffron risotto, zucchini and marrow, and the scallop of veal served with sage and parmesan cheese are perfection. Dessert lovers can end the meal with the Affogato al caffè with ice chocolate truffle and hot espresso. The aperitif and cocktail list is diversified and quite appealing. Lunch Menu €30. A la carte €40-€50.
