Sundance Mine Company Description:
If you're looking for prime rib on the Peninsula, this is the place. Family owned and operated for over three decades, Sundance specializes in slow-roasted prime rib and aged steaks. The atmosphere is upscale but still screams "steakhouse!" with dark wood accents and old sports memorabilia on the walls. High-backed booths are comfortable and private. Start with a classic wedge of iceberg lettuce topped with house-made blue cheese dressing. The Prime filet mignon is tender, juicy and flavorful, as is the New York strip and center cut top sirloin, but the prime rib is king---cooked to order, carved lean and served au jus with a side of creamy horseradish. The wine list offers over 450 global selections. Service is friendly but a bit too laid back.
