Patxi's Chicago Pizza Description:
Francisco Patxi Azpiroz knows a thing or two about pizza. As a former manager for Zachary's, Azpiroz worked (and obviously learned) at what is arguably the most celebrated pizzeria in the entire Bay Area. The menu is very focused, offering pizzas and salads and that's it. Patxi's serves the type of gooey deep-dish pizzas that would make a relocated Chicago native weep with joy. The pies boast loads of meat and oodles of cheese. A 16-inch order of, say, the special, which is piled high with sausage, mushrooms, onions and green peppers, is enough to feed a small platoon of Marines. The thin-crust pies are as good (if not better) than the deep-dish numbers. Please note, however, these are not New York-style thin crusts. Patxi's also offers delivery.
