A longtime gay gathering place, Blame It On Midnight survives as a lively hangout with a bustling bar scene and a restaurant that serves ample amounts of predictable but palatable American standards. It's not a place to frequent for the food, but anyone who goes for the bar scene, the entertainment, the company or the ambience won't feel the need to go anywhere else when hunger strikes. The menu caters to a variety of tastes and appetites, with appetizers ranging from potato skins to ahi tartare. Among entrées, the pork osso buco and the baby-back ribs are favorites, as are the scallops in Alfredo sauce. There is also a changing array of specials.
