So the place is a little funky, seemingly stuck in the time warp that has the little colorful town of Pahoa under its spell. Still, the fare is good, inexpensive, true Mexican, and portions are huge. Order a pitcher of margaritas and you are all set. Half the fun is people-watching---the booths will likely be filled with hippies, their children, and other denizens of this area.
