Pirate's Dinner Adventure Description:
The action-packed show revolves around a 46-foot-long replica of an eighteenth-century Spanish galleon "sailing" on the 300,000-gallon indoor lagoon. The rowdy, kid-pleasing evening is complete with cannon blasts, pyrotechnics and plenty of opportunities for interacting with the pirates---150 audience members are chosen each show to participate in the adventure. And like most dinner shows, it's more about the entertainment than the food. Arrive early and nibble on a buffet of appetizers such as chicken wings and crab dip. Dinner never varies: everyone gets an ordinary green salad and a choice between chicken, pork, and a "seafood medley" of lobster, scallops and shrimp. (Kids can choose chicken fingers.) A scoop of rice or potatoes, steamed vegetables and apple cobbler fill the plate. Vegetarian options are available if you ask. In true buccaneer spirit, the beer and sodas are free.
