This casual restaurant has more than 100 items on the menu, but don't be overwhelmed. First choose beef, pork, chicken, seafood or vegetarian, then decide if you want rice, vermicelli or a simple broth. We always start with the cold summer rolls, stuffed with noodles, shrimp and vegetables and accompanied by the salty soy-peanut dipping sauce. A favorite entrée is the simple com thit nuong, grilled pork on rice. Or try the barbecued beef and fried egg on rice. The servers are helpful if you want to be more adventurous. Try an authentic dish like shrimp paste served on sugar cane with charbroiled meatballs and rice vermicelli. It tastes much better after a glass of the Japanese plum wine.
