For a splurge and old-fashioned fine service, Christini's is a sure bet. Chris Christini has been greeting his customers at his Southwest Orlando restaurant for more than four decades, and it's consistently a top place to entertain upscale clients if you're on a business trip. There are no surprises on the menu, with Italian classics like a fresh caprese salad or fried calamari. The signature veal chop with fresh sage and Calvados, oven-roasted rack of lamb and jumbo shrimp in spicy tomato sauce are all standout entrées. Pastas range from rigatoni in a Parmesan fennel cream sauce with shredded sweet Italian sausages to a decadent fettuccine Alfredo. Sweet endings are Italian classics like tiramisu, cannoli and ricotta cheesecake. Christini's solid wine list includes an impressive range of French, American and Italian vintages, many by the glass.
