Chili's Grill & Bar Description:
Chili's is the quintessential bar and grill. With its emphasis on alcoholic concoctions, appetizers and large entrées in a noisy setting, it doesn't offer too much more than what you'd expect. Not that the food is bad. The burgers are a meal, such as the smokehouse-bacon-triple-cheese concoction, or a plate of mini-burgers topped with bacon, cheese, onions and ranch dressing. Or try the smoked chicken tacos with caramelized onions, cotija cheese and cilantro sour cream, or chicken breast marinated in margarita mix, served with rice, black beans and pico de gallo. Go for the optional grilled vegetables; they're worth the price. Chili's also has good burgers and entrée salads. For those watching their weight, the chain's guiltless grill entrées, like grilled salmon with garlic and herbs, are above average. Hamburgers are also available sans the meat, made with a black bean patty.
