Review :
Although the food (18 oz. steak) was very tasty, the price for a lunch for two was something I expected to pay in a large city, at a higher end restaurant. I will probably eat there again, but I'll stick to an order of toast or a hamburger. I expect that to be very pricey also.
The restaurant had 2 customers when We arrived at 2:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon. After our arrival only 7 more people showed up. Is this a reflection of the high prices, or due to a sunny Sunday afternoon in October?
Alexandria is not a major city center, but perhaps Maggie's is the only decent restaurant in town. This might explain the high prices.
