Germano's Restaurant Catering Description:
This charming Italian eatery features white linen tablecloths, soft candlelight and saucy pastas on its lengthy menu. But it's the kind of place where you can request a particular dish not on offer, and if they have the ingredients in house, they'll gladly prepare it. Choosing something from the menu shouldn't present a problem. We recommend the veal scallops, thinly sliced, lightly breaded, and topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano and German's special tomato sauce. The gnocchi tossed in cream sauce with prosciutto and peas also is a winner. The wine list is primarily Italian and Californian with a handful of bottles from France, Spain, Chile and Australia. Servers know their stuff when it comes to pairing vinos with the cuisine. As in any good Italian family, Germano's can get a bit more boisterous as the evening goes on.
