Woodminster Amphitheater Description:

Parking:

The Oakland Police manages the parking in the park on performance nights. There is a ticket booth located inside the park entrance which opens at 6 p.m., and a charge of $2.00 for parking in the lots around the theater. You may park on Joaquin Miller Road for free, but be prepared to walk a considerable distance to the amphitheater.

General Rules:

No cameras or recorders.
No alcohol


Driving direction to Woodminster Amphitheater:
From San Leandro and points south:
Take 580 to Highway 13 exit (Warren Freeway).
Exit off Joaquin Miller and turn right to go up the hill.

From San Francisco:
Take 580 East to Highway 24 (toward Walnut Creek).
Take this to Highway 13 SOUTH toward Hayward and follow 13 until you get to the Joaquin Miller exit.
Turn left up the hill.

For access via public transportation:
Take BART to Oakland's Fruitvale station.
Take the #53 bus up Joaquin Miller Road.
(Check schedules with AC Transit.)
Get off at Robinson across from the Woodminster sign.
Enter the park and follow the signs to the theater (down the hill to the left past the ranger station).
