Battambang Description:
When Battambang first opened more than fifteen years ago, it was one of only a handful of dinner spots in downtown Oakland. Now the area is filled with exciting Asian restaurants, but Battambang is still a standout. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and we can't get enough of the refreshing green papaya salad, packed with fresh herbs, crab with spicy coconut sauce, and the curried noodle dishes, still satisfying after all these years.
