Shiro Restaurant Description:
Located in the beautifully restored Rogers Mansion, a 1930 Greek Revival-style house, this is an ambitious restaurant that offers live entertainment. Sit at the handsome sushi bar in what was once the living room and watch the chefs prepare sashimi and sushi. Or, score a linen-topped table in the main dining room or one of the tatami rooms on the lower level for a more intimate experience. Wherever you settle in, be sure to indulge in the sesame-crusted ahi or roasted boneless rack of lamb. Proprietor J.W. Shin draws on his Korean heritage, so expect to find Korean short ribs, beautifully served in a neat stack, as well.
