Metro-North RR to the South Norwalk station. The Aquarium is a short 3 block walk from the station.

The Maritime Aquarium is a nationally recognized aquarium and one of the few in the country that focuses on one body of water (Long Island Sound). Its open from 10am to 5pm every day except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
The Aquarium features 9-foot sharks in an Open Ocean exhibit, as well as curious harbor seals, playful river otters, mesmerizing jellyfish and about 1,000 other animals representing 125 marine species. For kids, theres a Touch Tank with shoreline animals and a Touch Pool with live rays.

There is a snack bar available every day and a raw bar with fresh seafood on weekends.
