The location on the ground floor of a plain brick structure looks like it belongs in the more industrial sections of Brooklyn rather than Norwalk. But it sets an airy atmosphere for a clientele who enjoy the blending of Eastern and Western décor: wicker chairs and see-through hanging lampshades, bamboo and exposed brick work well with the wooden tables and chairs and the warm earth tones. The menu consisting of large and small plates as well as set meals is a mixture of Thai, Chinese and Asian fusion fare. The big bowl noodle soup, a Thai twist on the Vietnamese pho, has the hearty home-style goodness of the traditional Vietnamese favorite with a spicy Thai kick. The goong kra tiem, shrimp in garlic sauce served with white rice and vegetables, is beautifully presented as is the tender sizzling chicken filet grilled tableside.
