Gourmet Diner Description:
Owner Sia Hemmati added Hanna's to the name, and romanticized the place a bit with white linen tablecloths and fresh flowers, but otherwise this is the same retro-style, stainless steel diner with the same trademark French-inspired chalkboard specialties. Herb-roasted chicken, steak au poivre, lamb shank imbued with red wine, and the meatiest of veal Bolognese sauces are just a few of the favorites, and the custard fruit tart, topped with vine-ripe strawberries and bright kiwis, is legendary. Plenty of moderately priced French wines to go with the solid country cooking.
