The Midsummer Music Festival ia a rock, reggae, swing, blues, bluegrass, jazz, folk/fusion, progressive, and pop festival benefiting the Duke Childrens Hospital. Bands include Moonride, Blue Rags, Hipbone, The Amateurs, Countdown Quartet, Bez Mongold, Kava, Sector 9, Chin Ho, Wild America, Grasshoper Highway, and Purple Schoolbus.

From the Triangle, travel north on US-1 to NC 96 East. Follow 96 East and turn left on Route 1100. The venue will be on the left at the corner of Route 1100 and route 1105.
