Freemason Abbey Description:
Dining casual downtown. Located in 127 yr old renovated church, the atmosphere is elegantly casual and the menus emphasis is on beef and seafood. Wild game night weekly. Provide booster seats and high chairs for small children.
The stone exterior and vaulted ceilings of this century-old former church provide a special atmosphere for some satisfying American favorites such as whole Atlantic lobsters, prime rib, pan-seared tuna, grilled salmon Oscar and Rockefeller trout. We also recommend the homemade artichoke dip and crab dip. The cheerful and efficient staff makes it a fine place for business luncheons and other group gatherings as well as a regular stop on tours in and around the historic Freemason District. "Lunch in a flash," with ever-changing options which may include quiche, shrimp amandine or Southwestern chicken wrap, is served weekdays for nearby office workers on their lunch hour.
