Studio Square Description:
Once an old factory building, the space that now houses Studio Square is a gleaming Long Island City center for suds and hops and everything in between. The front bar and restaurant area gives way to a plus-size cobblestone courtyard crammed with long wooden tables. Here up to 1,000 folks can nurse one of 20 brews on tap (ten European, ten domestic) and enjoy brew-friendly fare like bratwurst and kielbasa, which, along with the crispy french fries, are the best offerings from the kitchen. The over-size hamburger is marred by too much bun (and sweet tasting at that). There's also sushi, which just doesn't seem right at a Central European-style beer garden. Cash only.
