Lodge Description:
If you can't get to the mountains, let the mountains come to you. The wood-bedecked, rustic décor of this Williamsburg eatery offers a snapshot of, well, a lodge somewhere far from this Brooklyn locale. The menu is equally congruent, churning out hearty, comforting meals for a cold winter's night. The grilled chicken with Israeli couscous fell flat, but the grilled whole trout, doused with garlic and rosemary, is a hit every time. So is the tender pulled pork (with a boost from the accompanying Gouda mac 'n' cheese and jalapeño cornbread). There's a long list of nicely priced creative cocktails and plenty of beer on tap.
