This no-nonsense, family-atmosphere establishment in the heart of Greek Astoria serves standard Greek specialties---creamy taramasalata, garlicky skordalia, stewed rabbit, roast chicken. The lamb burgers are especially juicy, oniony and flavorful. That is, if you can resist the chicken, whole lamb and suckling pig (in season) turning on the open rotisserie. If you're more in the mood for a round of appetizers, we suggest the fried calamari, grilled octopus, spinach pie, and garlic and mashed potato dip.
