Take some cowboy kitsch, add about 50 tequilas and 240 bottles of beer and you've got one of the liveliest spots on Staten Island. Sidle up to the bar and after pouring over the mind-boggling selection try a microbrew like Cave Creek Chili Beer; with a jalapeño bobbing inside, it will fire you up faster than the weak house sangría. There are also rare beers from Belgium, England, Germany, Norway and Scotland, Poland, Panama and Trinidad. If you've come for the food, don't fill up on the chips and fresh salsa when you can order beer-soaked Drunken Mexican shrimp, a sizzling platter of grilled ostrich fajitas or mini tacos with ground chicken. And don't forget desserts like chocolate-peanut butter pie. Bands play a few days a week.
