At Buenos Aires, an East Village eatery bedecked with brick walls and an outdoor garden, you'd be forgiven if you thought you were in a steakhouse. Grilled sirloin, rib-eye, skirt steak, flank steak, tri-trip, shell steak and short ribs, all of which rate "juicy" on the tender-meter, can take you to Argentine Valhalla---that great mythical meat hall in the sky---and back in one plate. And if that's not enough, there's blood sausage, lemony grilled chicken, chorizo, sweetbreads and sautéed veal kidney. Everything tastes better slathered with the tableside garlicky chimichurri sauce and washed down with one of the many affordable Argentine bottles of wine. Desserts, such as the dulce de leche ice cream and flan, are satisfying (and fortunately not meat-flavored).
