Black Duck Description:
This seafood restaurant goes for haute, but what's on the plate doesn't always match the aspirations. Still, the woody tavern-like interior makes for a pleasant vibe. Try the jumbo lump crab and rock shrimp cake with green apple salad and caper rémoulade or the roasted East Coast halibut with sweet corn risotto, sautéed spinach and orange beurre blanc. Entertainment includes live jazz on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as James Bond flicks on Sunday nights for those who want a little 007 with their martinis.

Review :
I was looking forward to Black Duck, as many of the reviews were stellar. To their credit, the food was well prepared and presented. Flavors mingled well and were not overdone. However, the service was atrocious. Our waiter never once said a word to us, just took order, and dropped off plates. I would have bought some wine if he even asked if I wanted a bottle. I had to remind him to bring bread and the comp. Champagne. The tip was already included as a service fee (there were only two of us) I hate seeing that on a bill. As soon as dessert was served, we were kindly asked to HURRY UP. We were at the rest. for about 90 mins, and then everyone in our section was asked to leave. Sorry black duck, never again...
