This dainty and relaxed French bistro, situated in a landmarked townhouse off Madison Avenue, serves fresh and faithful French classics amid a décor reminiscent of the 1920s jazz era. Seared scallops in a spring pea chowder with white asparagus and the yellow and red beet salad with Marcona almonds, apples and Roquefort vinaigrette show the kitchen's play with convention and contemporary flavors.
