This Long Island steakhouse serves up steak, sushi, and a welcoming setting. The stone façade, dark hardwood floors and expansive room centered by a fireplace evoke the feel of a Western lodge. The acoustics charge the room with sound, so we recommend requesting a table far from the bar. Service is highly attentive---even on a packed night. The Kobe beef appetizer is served paper-thin on a sizzling stone. Sushi rolls and lobster make for top appetizers. The porterhouse, which comes in two-, three- or four-person servings, is accompanied by béarnaise, au poivre and Blackstone's own signature sauce. An impressive wine list boasts over 600 bottles (mostly red) to complement the meal.
