Parking:

Parking fileds are located on Jericho Turnpike West (Route 25), Just follow the signs. There is plenty of free parking, as well as a free shuttle bus to the course.

Public Transportation:

Take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to the Hicksville station. From the station, take a short taxi cab ride (less than 1 1/2 miles) to the Tournament main gate at Meadow Brook Club (directions above).

General Rules:

No Coolers

No outside food or drink

The following restriction is in effect for Friday 8/3/01 through Sunday 8/5/01 only:

No cameras or video recorders

Miscellaneous:

78 SENIOR PGA TOUR professionals will compete for the $1,700,000 purse. The two-time defending champion of the Classic is Bruce Fleischer. Scheduled to appear are: Raymond Floyd, Lee Trevino, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Dana Quigley, Jim Albus, Jim Colbert and Allen Doyle.


Driving direction to Meadow Brook Club:
Take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate Route 495) to Exit 41 North -OR- take the Northern State Parkway to Exit 35 North. Continue North on routes 106/107, staying to the right. Follow signs to Jericho Turnpike West (Route 25) and follow signs for tournament parking. Spectators who park a distance from the gate will take a free shuttle bus to the tournament enterance.
