Jumbo Seafood Description:
A spinoff of a now-closed Chinatown restaurant of the same name, this location has fancier decor, and offers Dim Sum on the weekends.
After decamping from Chinatown to tony Newton, the owners of this Hong Kong-style seafooder sold the original branch to focus on their sophomore effort. While it's swankier than the original---it even has a decent bar--- the food is on par. Salt-and-pepper dry-fried shellfish remains king, whole steamed fish its queen---and stir-fried peapod stems get the royal treatment too. Too bad weekend dim sum lacks the chaos that gives the urban experience its tang.
