Berkshire Grill Description:
The ambience is warm and pub-like, with exposed brick walls, wood beams and cozy booths. The cuisine is reasonably priced and features a wide variety of American and ethnic-inspired food. The devil himself may have cooked the fiery shrimp and scallops fra diavolo, lush with large gulf shrimp and sea scallops sautéed then simmered in a spicy sauce. It's served atop linguine with Parmesan and Romano cheeses. Other temptations include mussels zuppa, shrimp-and-lobster bisque, spinach-pecan salad, prime rib and Mandarin-glazed salmon. The tuna sashimi appetizer is made with a generous hand and is beautifully presented. Among the most popular dishes here is Cognac scallops; the delicate shellfish are caramelized and flamed with Cognac before finishing with a dab of butter then served over wild rice and wilted spinach. For dessert, try the chocolate truffle.
