Rainforest Cafe Description:
"A Wild Place to Shop and Eat" Rainforest Cafe transports guests to the canopy of the rainforest. Gorillas, elephants, large butterflies, and exotic fish are only a few of the creatures that make this place so special. American food with an adventurous flair, the extensive menu encompasses all from salads and sandwiches to steaks, ribs, and seafood at a reasonable price. Be sure to save room for the decadent volcano dessert! Hours vary seasonally, and reservations are accepted. Birthday party packages and educational tours are also available. Located in Trump Plaza on the boardwalk.
A thunderstorm rumbles through the 400-seat dining room every 15 minutes, animatronic elephants raise their animatronic trunks and trumpet, and khaki-clad servers traverse the premises hollering Volcano! as they deliver the restaurant's signature, sparkler-topped dessert to diners. It's a real jungle in there. Opt for Rasta Pasta (grilled chicken, walnut pesto, broccoli, red peppers and spinach tossed with Alfredo sauce), the Rumble in the Jungle Turkey Wrap or the Congo catfish plate. Portions are large and prices aren't bad for a chain restaurant.
