Rooms are old, but clean, furniture and fixtures are dated, but the rates reflect that. Have eaten 4 or 5 meals there, found the food very good, home cooking, very reasonable prices.

Aug 17/09. stayed at the Bluebird for flea market weekend checked in friday night to very dirty beds.had a hard job to get the sheets replaced and no offer for a discount and very rude rececption. My advice is to drive by this dirty bird! B cheney

Spend the weekend there during the sussex flea market. The room was terrible. Very dirty and service was bad. They were very rude and were very put out when asked to do anything. We are not hard people to please and didnot feel our request were out of line.Would never recommend anyone ever stay there and will spread the word to all we know that they are better off sleeping in their car.

saturday,june27/09 Went to blue bird with a small group. the place was not busy but the waitress refused to make a milkshake saying she didnt have time.she was very ,very rude to us.we wont be back. we were mortified to be treated so poorly. thats a bad apple

we went for supper tonight at the blue bird normally they have great food but tonight it was terrible. I had a donair which was first cold, had pepperoni on it, yuck, the sauce was so thick couldn't even spread it, we shared a poutine that had very little cheese or gravy and was served cold. it cost alot to eat there and it was a great disappointment, i would never recommend it to any of my friends or foes,and when I mentioned the poornest of the hot food the waitress said oh well don't know what to tell you, imagine!!!
