Spiga Trattoria Italiana Description:
Casual Italian restaurant on the Needham/Newton line. The restaurant is tucked away just behind some buildings on Highland Avenue, and Highland Circle is not clearly marked, so it can be tricky to find. The restaurant uses a sandwich board sign on Highland Avenue to mark where to turn.
Note that Spiga closed temporarily in order to change chefs in early 2009. Older food reviews may not reflect current offerings.
