Nashvillians know that if Arnold Myint's name is on a restaurant, they can expect fanciful small plates, outlandishly multicultural tastes and an abiding sense of fun. His first two efforts are PM and Cha Chah, and now he's entered the late-night haven of Church Street with an Asian tapas restaurant. The first thing that greets you is a hand-painted dragon kite draped from the ceiling of the shotgun dining space. Once you take your seat on a posh banquette, start with the whimsical Asian-Latin nachos, which substitute crispy wonton noodles for chips, piling on stewed pork, pico de gallo, red curry crema and sriracha sauce instead of the usual ingredients. Most of the plates are designed for sharing, so don't be afraid to sample all over the menu. Many of the "yum bowls" are good choices, especially the kung pao green beans and crispy shallots sautéed in spicy chili oil. The wine list is decent, but it's the exotic cocktails that really evoke thrilling sensations; try the La Nouvelle Mode, which throws together Yamazaki whiskey with ginger-infused Cognac and citrus for a wild ride.
