This magnificent brasserie (brewery) was once very dear to the heart of the Surrealists. It offers local dishes at all hours of the day.
When you're in Nantes, stop by to admire the dining room's listed nineteenth-century décor (gorgeous mosaics, ceramics and woodwork). If you stay to eat, try one of the excellent raw seafood platters or generous brasserie-style dishes on the menu like andouillette sausage à la plancha, parmesan scallop carnaroli risotto, steak tartare, shortcake tarte au café.
