Parking is available and starts at $2. May be higher at private lots.

General Rules:

This is a timed entry event - all tickets MUST be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold "walk up" the night of the events.

No outside food or drink, cameras, audio or video.
No smoking inside the attraction.

Miscellaneous:

This is a walking tour that is a haunted attraction.
Should dress warmly.
Fog and strobe lights are in use. There may be tight spaces and jail cells may be used.




Driving direction to West Virginia Penitentiary:
From I-70 take the I-470 split West. Go across bridge and take Route 7 South into Ohio. Follow the river. It will be about about 12 miles to the Moundsville exit. Cross the bridge at Moundsville continuing straight. Go through one light which is Route 2, continue four streets and turn left at Jefferson. There is a sign stating "business district". The prison is ahead.

In West Virginia, from I-70 take Route #2 South to
Moundsville, turn left on Eigth Street. The Penitentiary is two blocks ahead.
