Yes it is a family run place, the decor is old(original from day one), you have to realize that this is not a 5 star place, this is a small place that hasn't changer at all since day one because they don't have to.the food speaks for it self.
If you want high class don't go, the food is by far the best I've ever come across, better than Vancouver, this is authentic Thai food, and I'm not sure how people find it expensive, it's cheaper than Boston pizza, or any other crappy corporate food trough.

Fist of all, the girl (with blood hair) who served me was very rude. And when the order comes, it looks like they just give me someone's left over. I cannot even eat it. I did not bother to complain when I pay as the girl was rude to me. I called them when I got home to see I can get my money back and was rudely turn down by the son of the owner.

This is my husband and my favourite restaurant. It pays to know what to order (#30,#35) The Green curry is nice and the medium spice is perfect. We have both been to Thailand and this is one the closest restaurants in Sask. that we have found. But I will admit we order it mostly in take-out, the service has always been friendly and helpful.

describes everything! I was willing to accept the decor. I've had some great oriental food in tacky places. However, tacky was only the beginning of this experience. The food was repulsive. Nit's seem to specialize in brown gravy with heavy spice (and I like hot). My noodles were bathed in it, but spiced way too hot to taste the food. Possibly the point. My wife had sweet & sour, and, as the waitress said, "they put a bag of sugar in it." Obviously followed with a bottle of red dye. My friend got a bowl of brown gravy broth with meat and mushrooms-to his surprise. It didn't say that on the menu. Furthermore, it was so hot, he could not eat it. Well, he asked for spicy, because he loves it too.
If anything was worth the price, it was the stories of the service. The waitresses had less tact than those in any dive bar. When another customer asked for help with the menu, our waitress asked if he had been blond once. They never asked us if things were "tasting good." They seemed to know better. Don't they teach that now in every waitress training? I must admit, if would have clashed with the scowling indifference on their faces. Finally, they took away three unfinished meals without word. You could tell it was the norm! $50 with 2 cokes. Go elsewhere!

If you can get past the decor, you are in for a real treat. Some of the best Thai food is here. Although a little expensive, the flavor is great.

I had the worst eating expirience I've ever had. One noodle dish we ordered tasted premade and totally unfresh. I love Thai food and this place is extremely mediocre. The worst part was the service. The waitress noticed we didnt eat the noodle dish and was personally offended and spent the rest of the evening gossiping about us and actually pointed at us from across the room! I tell everyone not to eat there. Crazy staff! The worst part is- It was fairly expensive!
