I was hoping to find a good caribbean take-out restaurant in NDG. Unfortunately, that is not Ma's Place, for one main reason.
My curry chicken was full of bones. It was like they put a full chicken on the cutting board and hacked it up in a haphazard style and put everything in the curry.
One would be used to having a few bones, it happens. But, EVERY bite had joints, broken bones or full bones.
I'm sorry to say, but this was not a good experience, especially when eating the chicken roti sandwich. It was impossible to take a blind bite, you had to pick your meal apart and sort out the edible from the bones and joints.
The curry itself was flavourful. However, I will be going elsewhere for my curry. It's really too bad, it would have been really convenient to find good West Indies curry take-out in NDG.

They actually carve their meat. Sorry for the poor review, but there is just no reason to have a mouthful of bones in every bite - It's quite preventable!
